About Us

The New Jersey Lacrosse Foundation’s mission is to promote and support for all participants throughout the Garden State. We encourage the highest level of sportsmanship and healthy competition, and provide a leadership role in virtually every aspect of the game.

We serve the lacrosse community in the following ways:

WE ARE A DEDICATED LCAROSSE SOURCE TO FIND OUT ABOUT LACROSSE, LACROSSE EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN NEW JERSEY FOR BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS. WE MANAGE:

      • ANNUAL NEW JERSEY LACROSSE GIL GIBB’S ALL-STAR GAMES
      • NJ LACROSSE HALL OF FAME
      • NJ LACROSSE FOUNDATION WEBSITE
      • NJ MEN’S AND WOMEN’S OFFICIALS ASSOCIATIONS LIASION

The New Jersey Lacrosse Foundation is a 501c3 organization that has been providing lacrosse resources to players, parents, coaches, officials and fans since 1966. We are a statewide group of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to maintain and advance the positive spirit of lacrosse, and support the highest ethical standards of the game. These individuals give back so others can participate and benefit from the sport of lacrosse.

Hall of Fame

Each year the members and board of NJ Lacrosse selects a group of individuals to honor from your nominations – men and women, past and present – who by their deeds as players, coaches, officials, and/or contributors, and by the example of their lives, personify the great contribution of the sport of Lacrosse to our way of life, and to recognize and induct these individuals into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame. An annual banquet allows the NJ Lacrosse community, past Hall of Fame recipients and friends and family to come together to recognize and celebrate the induction of these outstanding individuals into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

In addition to these honors, the New Jersey Lacrosse Foundation also awards one individual with The Richard Rizk Unsung Hero Award. This award is given in honor of the late Richard Rizk – an active and loyal member of our lacrosse community for over forty-five years – to recognize deserving (participants or contributors) whom have also given unselfishly to New Jersey Lacrosse and the New Jersey Lacrosse Foundation. Dick has provided New Jersey Lacrosse with a standard of commitment which continues today. The Foundation takes great pride in the naming of this award in Dick’s name for his unwavering devotion to our lacrosse community.
